ARISE ON SCREEN is the Arise Networks weekly global movie review & interview show created and hosted by film critic MIKE SARGENT (WBAI-FM, co-founder Black Film Critics Circle).
 
ARISE ON SCREEN features news, reviews and information for films both on screen and behind the scenes and is the first African-American hosted film review television show ever. Based in New York City, the show airs every weekend and also live streams on http://www.arise.tv/entertainment.
 
Weekly interview segments have featured some of today’s leading actors including: rising star and award-winning actor Michael B. Jordan, Jeff Goldblum, Zac Efron, Willem Dafoe, Miles Teller, Keanu Reeves, Oscar Isaac, , Ryan Reynolds, Regina Hall, Michael Jai White, Soirese Ronan, and Emmy winner Joe Pantoliano. Filmmakers featured have included: Award-winning Producer/Director Warrington Hudlin, Oscar- winning Director Alex Gibney, legend and award-winning filmmaker/provocateur Melvin Van Peebles, Jon Favreaux, co-founder of the First Time Film Fest Johanna Bennett (daughter of Tony Bennett), and many more.
